Trafalgar Community Infant School...

It is always a pleasure to deliver Forest School sessions to Trafalgar Community Infant School in the heart of Horsham. They may not have a woodland, or many trees for that matter, but what they do have is a spare piece of grassland behind one of their classrooms, vegetable beds and loads of enthusiasm, which is perfect for an experiential day of learning outdoor activities. Delivering weekly sessions since 2016, to the Year 2s, COVID-19 sadly put pay to this, so this year (2021) the Year 2s are just having one whole day of Forest School, which is theirs to experience all the different activities on offer. A chance to unwind, read a book under the canopy of their beautiful willow tree, gently rock to and fro on the homemade hazel swing, also hung under the same tree, create something out of nature, cook a snack over the fire or just breathe in the atmosphere and the ambiance of the day... It's great to be back.
